You will work alongside some of the best artists in Turkey enhancing your skills in visual art. You will attend workshops that will teach you the role of arts in the world and allow you to hear from contemporary Turkish artists. These workshops will engage you in Turkish culture to further develop your intercultural skills and to stretch your perception of what is normal versus unusual.  The program is a month long and divided into two sections.  One section is comprised of 18 "free" days where you are able to work on your own and the second section is comprised of 12 structured days.  The structured days are broken down to: a gallery tour, a studio tour, an interview with some of Turkey's leading art directors and/or curators and finally 5 days where you have the option to work alongside and/or collaborate with local artists.
